We would drop off payment at the bank and a courier from the cable company would pick it up at the bank. Apparently, it was deposited in the wrong account by the cable company, and we received a late payment charge even though we paid the bill 12 days in advance of the date due. We went to the bank in search of some kind of explanation, and from there the bank employees took over making countless telephone calls and faxing information that in fact, the bill had been properly paid.
